The Ramblings Of A Pessimistic Arsenal Fan

A place that I was quite nervous about after reading some horror stories about tourists being mugged and the like. However, we had no problems whatsoever – in fact, quite the opposite. People were nice and the scenery was spectacular. The highlights were Tikal and Semuc Champey but there is so much to see in this place, I’d love to go back one day.

Rushing Around Guatemala

A few more painful bus journeys as we fling around Guatemala in record time so that we can cram in a visit to Semuc Champey as well as Tikal before we head for the last leg and a stay on the island of Caye Caulker in Belize.

Anniversaries And Football

The World Cup begins - but I have barely watched any of it. It's not all that bad though as we are still on Roatan, soaking up the sun. Then its off to Guatemala where we encounter a man more suited to Brixton and stay in a remote finca in the jungle.

Mother Nature Alters Our Route

The erupting volcano near Antigua forces us to travel through El Salvador to Honduras.
